Enhancing livability in Sector East 48 requires addressing multiple urban and mobility challenges affecting safety, and accessibility. Key issues include unsafe pedestrian crossings, insufficient shaded walkways, inconsistent paving, unauthorized parking, and inadequate school access infrastructure. In light of this, Tatweer has been tasked by DMT with delivering concept, preliminary, and detailed designs to upgrade internal roads, surface parking, and public spaces. The outcome is a cohesive, safe, and vibrant sector that supports Abu Dhabi’s 2030 urban development vision.
