Tatweer and Abu Dhabi Mobility Sign Strategic R&D Agreement to Advance Smart Transport Solutions

As part of GITEX GLOBAL 2025, Tatweer Middle East & Africa and Abu Dhabi Mobility (Integrated Transport Centre – ITC) signed a strategic research and development cooperation agreement to drive innovation and advance smart transport systems in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.

The agreement was signed by Dr Eng. Abdulla Alghfeli, Acting Director General of the Integrated Transport Centre, and Dr Atef Garib, Chief Executive Officer of Tatweer Middle East & Africa.

This collaboration marks a key milestone in strengthening institutional partnerships and promoting technological innovation in transport safety, efficiency, and sustainability.

Under the agreement, both parties will cooperate in applying artificial intelligence, machine learning, and data analytics to enhance road safety, optimise network performance, and develop advanced mobility solutions that align with Abu Dhabi’s Smart Mobility 2030 vision.
