Tatweer Welcomes U.S. Delegation to Strengthen International Collaboration in Smart Mobility and Infrastructure
Tatweer Middle East & Africa welcomed a high-level U.S. delegation of transportation and infrastructure leaders to its Headquarters and Innovation Hub in Abu Dhabi, hosted in collaboration with Phoenix Global Group Holdings. The visit reflected a shared commitment to advancing global dialogue and cooperation in the fields of smart mobility, digital infrastructure, and urban innovation.
The delegation included senior officials and executives from Illinois and Pennsylvania, such as Deputy Governor Bria Scudder, Illinois Secretary of Transportation Gia Biagi, Chicago Aviation Commissioner Michael McMurray, and Pennsylvania Turnpike CEO Mark Compton, along with leaders representing major U.S. transportation, engineering, and infrastructure entities.
During the visit, delegates toured Tatweer’s state-of-the-art facilities. They observed live demonstrations of key smart mobility platforms, including the Smart Driving Test System, which exemplifies how technology-driven governance enhances safety, transparency, and public service delivery.
In addition, the delegation held discussions with representatives from the Integrated Transport Centre (ITC), Department of Municipalities and Transport (DMT), and Abu Dhabi Airports Company (ADAC) — reinforcing bilateral collaboration and knowledge exchange between the UAE and the United States.
The visit underscored Tatweer’s growing role as a regional hub for innovation and system integration, and marked another milestone in building global partnerships that drive smarter, safer, and more sustainable mobility ecosystems.
